I do get noticed, but then people stare at me anyway because I walk with a crutch and wear surgical shoes and a caliper....but they seem to stare at my hair more now!! I love it, you're never too old for purple hair!! I’m 57 and I’ve just had my (long - mid back length) hair dyed purple - I LOVE it, and so do my children and grandchildren. That was my first foray into wild hair colors. I followed up with purple when I was 38. I'm 42 now and my hair is back to its natural mousy brown, but I fully intend to do another fun color, one of these days. I don't care if I'm too old for it. Currently I have just one white hair, but someday I will have more, and when I do, I think they'll make a great base for bright colors! I colored my hair fuschia when I was 35.
