I am at the ICUUW Conference

Yesterday I arrived in Houston for the International Convocation of Unitarian Universalist Women (ICUUW).  I am delighted to be here with 550 or so other Unitarian Universalist women, talking about how to improve the lives of women around the world.  On Saturday I will be presenting about how and why to increase the intergenerational conversations between women about sex and sexuality.  I’m looking forward to my workshop – it will be a lot of fun and I hope very supportive of these many women in their diverse lives holding these conversations more often.

I will write more about my presentation later, but it may need to wait until next week.  Right today I want to write about age, but our morning worship service is about to start, so look for my ruminations on age later this afternoon.

  1. I’m here, too. BTW, in my group last night, as we wrote about the concerns in our communities, sex education was big on our list.

  2. How to increase the intergenerational conversations between women about sex and sexuality sounds like an interesting topic — and one you’re very highly qualified to speak on. I’d be very interested in learning how that goes.
