		<description>This doesn't have anything to do with your new blogroll (fun to see, by the way), but I wanted you to see it.

The web comic xkcd recently took on the "base system" (you know, how far did you get with him/her?  Oh, we went to second base this time).  It's here: http://xkcd.com/540/.  I found it hilarious, as my early-college friends had a long discussion about what the bases were, and why it even mattered.  

Plus it reminded me of you, as I was very confused by the base system as a teen, and would have loved to talk to someone (anyone) about it.  :-)</description>
