I really enjoy seeing your updated feed in my reader, and wanted to commend you for speaking out on another difficult topic. I was encouraged by your line: "...see if you can make the decision to only drink and/or drug if you are in very safe surroundings with very safe people." I think is is a perfect way to support, but not encourage drug & alcohol experimentation by teens. Growing up, I heard this same thing and I waited until I was in a safe environment to begin experimenting. (Sometimes I am thankful my parents are hippies!)
